I have been greatly blessed to serve Jesus in this late hour through am internet live-streaming (and radio) show at the Liberty Broadcasting Network, which is found at www.libertybroadcastingnetwork.com. I have studied your site and your work. It is quite interesting and engaging. Actually, many Christians are confused or misinformed about this topic, and most are learning from false teachers. Christians want answers and are turning away from God to find these answers. In fact, I feel strongly and pray that your knowledge and your info could really save and souls lives at this point. Therefore, after prayerful consideration and doing a bit or research, I am asking you to be my special guest on a date that we decide upon. I would love to discuss all of your hard work and promote your site and materials, and books/dvd's (if applicable). It would be an honor and a blessing to the audience/"congregation."

Thank you for this thoughtful post with stories about St. Gregory the Great. I've been researching his life to teach kids at my church and this one is my favorite. Stories are the best way to teach; I especially like the quotes that you included, as they give so much more insight into whom Gregory truly was.

this is a incredible story. I have never heard of it before but it clearly shows how Christians survived to take over the Roman Empire. I have often wondered how they were able to grow when actions like this continued. You have to believe that some of these Roman officers were changed by this type of faith. They could not have seen the like before. Nor was this an angry faith that attempted to fight against Rome. Thanks for these examples

the blog was delightful except for the last line...Father did not spend his last years in PA, though some of his family still lived there and there are Byznatine cloistered Carmelite sisters to whom he was close in PA whom he would visit when he could, as well as his Jesuit hom e in Wernersville. Rather he lived his last years in a house connected to Fordham University in the Bronx area of New York City...at the John the XXrd house of ....(forget the formal name...but it housed lots of religious, mostly Jesuits. It was a center for those who celebrated the Byzantine rite as well as the Roman rite..as Father C did)...it was there he lived for years and years... and gave most of his retreats...for a long time, until he couldn't from health, he went out to give retreats and days of recollections, eg. for the Missionary of Charity's in the Bronx.."down the street" as it were since Fordham Universtiy is in the Bronx...(yes, it is not the nicest area ...anymore)...anyway, I do not know if this statement could be changed in the blog, , it is rather minor point in your lovely blog, but, from what i know, absolutely not true..He died in his chair in this room at this house on the feast of the Immaculate Conception.

This house he lived in has since changed its name to something else...maybe JPII Center. after the last Pope, I do not know...
